About the Person

Mamoon Syed is Associate Vice President for Human Resources for Ohio State`s Wexner Medical Center. Syed provides strategic Human Resources support, with a sharp focus on recruiting, effectiveness and efficiency, and leading the multidisciplinary HR team. He works closely with the leadership team to advance the mission and vision of the medical center. He formerly served as vice president of Human Resources and Support Services for Rady Children’s Hospital and Health Center in San Diego where he led Human Resources and managed the Occupational Health, Environmental Services and Food Service functions of the organization. Prior to his time at Rady, he served as director of Education and Organizational Development for the Mercy Health System in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. While in that position, his organization received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
