About the Person

M. Susan Chambers had been an Executive Vice President of Global People at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., since April 5, 2006 until August 5th 2015.   Ms. Chambers had been responsible for Global Security, Aviation & Travel, food safety & security and risk control. She served as an Executive Vice President of Risk Management, Insurance and Benefits Administration of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. from December 19, 2003 to April 2006, Senior Vice President of Benefits and Insurance Administration since January 2002 and also served as Senior Vice President with responsibility for the areas of claims management, benefits, retirement and savings plans.   Ms. Chambers joined Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.`s Executive Committee in 1999 and initially trained as a Store and Club Manager and later moved into the information systems division as Vice President of Applications Development for Merchandising.   Ms. Chambers was employed for 14 years with Hallmark Cards Incorporated. She also held technical assignments at Amoco Oil Corporation. She has been Director at Wal-Mart de Mexico SAB De CV since 2006.   She serves on the Kansas State University Business Advisory Board. she graduated from William Jewel College in Liberty, Missouri with a bachelor of science in systems and data processing.
