At Petcurean, we create premium quality, nutrient-rich food that`s right for pets, to help our dogs and cats get the most out of their lives with us. We always have, since day one when two good friends started a little family operation in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada. They were driven by the idea that pets deserved better: that pets deserved food that was made with the same love and care as we put into preparing meals for our own families. To this day, Petcurean remains fiercely independent and lives by the rule of quality first, pets first, without compromise. We`re pet people, pet owners, pet advocates and yes, more than a little obsessed with proper pet nutrition. You should see us when we`re talking about what recipes we should be creating; the meats, veggies and fruits we should be including; which rancher, farmer or producer we`ll source from; what flavours we should be considering. It`s not enough to create a new recipe for the sake of having a new recipe; our foods have to do better than that, our foods have to help pets stay healthy and happy. At Pupford, our mission is to empower you to create a healthier and happier relationship with your pup. Hi, Im Yukiko, Mother to two senior Dachshunds and a fluffball Samoyed. And one of the founders of Pupford. I LOVE dogs (maybe a little too much… actually thats not possible.) and got into fostering surrendered pups in my home state of Utah about three years ago. The rescue organizations in Utah seriously rock and Ive been lucky enough to foster 20+ dogs that needed a little TLC before finding their forever homes. When you bring a new foster pup into your home, most of their background is a complete mystery. All you know is that its your duty to prepare them for adoption into a loving home. Preparing pups for adoption is like caring for any other dog, and it revolves around three critical components: Companionship Both man and dog are social beings and neither can thrive without meaningful relationships. Nutrition Receiving the right daily nutrition can rapidly transform a dogs physical and mental health. Training Proper obedience encourages positive behaviors, provides mental stimulation, and builds trust. These three things work together in tandem to make a pup truly happy!
