About the Person
Peter Barron, Director of HR Operations, joined Tufts University in December 2014. He brings over 20 years of experience in both consulting and corporate roles. He has created and operated HR Shared Services centers, and has expertise in HR technology strategy and implementation, business process transformation, and HR, benefits and payroll administration. Focusing on the employee experience his teams have provided high quality service solutions and superior ongoing service delivery to his organizations. At TSS, Pete’s team is responsible for HR and payroll administration, and related tax, accounting, and benefits activities. He earned his MBA with a concentration in HR Information Systems from the University at Albany. Pete enjoys attending sporting and school events involving the four teenagers at home, and sneaking away to golf or regroup on the Cape.
