Welcome to Fresno Pacific University! Here we challenge students to think critically, excel academically and live ethically. Our core values and commitment to building character spring from a distinctively Christian perspective. Fresno Pacific prepares people to lead in professions, serve society and transform culture. We are the Central Valley`s only accredited Christian university, offering leading academic programs, and ethical and spiritual development through traditional bachelor`s degree, adult degree completion, master`s, certificate and credentialing programs. We are accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). Learning is a lifelong journey, and our undergraduate, graduate and professional development programs provide direction and build competence. The curriculum is organized into four schools: Business, Education, Natural Sciences, and Humanities, Religion and Social Sciences. While each is centered on different disciplines, all are grounded in the same values. Trevecca Nazarene University is a private Nazarene liberal arts college in Nashville, Tennessee. It was founded in 1901.
Marked by more than a century of tradition since its founding by Booker T. Washington in 1881, Tuskegee University is known not only for being among the nation`s premier historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), but for its openness to all. An independent and state-related institution of higher education, TU is Alabama`s only private land-grant university. Its programs serve a student body numbering more than 3,000 students that is coeducational as well as racially, ethnically and religiously diverse. With a strong orientation toward disciplines that highlight the relationship between education and workforce preparation in the sciences, professions and technical areas, Tuskegee University also emphasizes the importance of the liberal arts as a foundation for successful careers in all areas. Academic instruction occurs in five colleges and three schools: the Andrew F. Brimmer College of Business & Information Science; College of Agriculture, Environment & Nutrition Sciences; College of Arts & Sciences; College of Engineering; College of Veterinary Medicine; Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture & Construction Science; School of Education; and School of Nursing & Allied Health. Graduate instruction leading to master`s degrees is offered in seven of the eight colleges and schools. Doctoral degrees are offered in four of the five colleges. U.S. News and the Wall Street Journal both currently rank Tuskegee University fourth nationally among HCBUs. In its “Regional Universities South” category, U.S. News ranks Tuskegee first among Alabama HBCUs, second among regional HBCUs, and 24th among all regional public and private institutions. The university is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
