About the Person

Scott Cook is the Vice President of Human Resources at Rentokil North America. In this role Scott leads the human capital acquisition and development to support a diverse set of businesses that has continued to grow and expand despite the challenging economic environment.  The Talent and OD organization provides sourcing strategy and talent acquisition support, leads succession planning and talent development and provides change management, organizational alignment, effectiveness and development consulting.   Scott has over 20 years of experience in strategic human resources and organizational development in a variety of industries, including insurance and financial services, professional staffing, engineering, construction in the commercial sector and munitions, security, logistics and life support in the government sector.  During this time his focus has been on helping businesses and people grow strategically.   After joining Day & Zimmermann in 1999, Scott lead the change management consulting effort accompanying the organization’s SAP implementation before becoming the VP of Human Resources and Administration for  D&Z’s largest business segment as it focused on an aggressive organic and acquisitive growth strategy that resulted in the business growing over 300% in the past 5 years.   Scott was the Vice President of Organizational and Management Development for CIGNA Property and Casualty Companies until July 1999, where in addition to serving in a number of senior HR leadership roles, he lead the organization’s renewal strategy for early and mid-career professionals.   Scott holds a BS in Psychology from Eastern Nazarene College and a Master’s in Organizational Development from Temple University.
