About the Person
Jonathan Schoonmaker is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Sophos. Schoonmaker brings more than three decades of experience in developing HR organizations to support global technology companies through periods of high growth and high performance. Schoonmaker joins Sophos from Hewlett Packard, where he served as senior vice president of human resources for the Enterprise group and Imaging Print and Solutions group, supporting more than 60,000 employees worldwide. Prior to joining Hewlett Packard in 2014, Schoonmaker was vice president for human resources at VMware where he established a high performance talent management program that helped support the company`s rapid growth, and led several acquisition integration projects. Before VMware, Schoonmaker held executive HR leadership positions at Borland, Business Objects, and Cadence Design Systems. Schoonmaker holds a BS in Communications from Ohio University.
