Norwich University (NU), founded in 1819, is the oldest private military college in the United States, birthplace of ROTC, and is located in Northfield, Vermont. NU is a coeducational, four-year university whose students choose either a military or civilian lifestyle. Norwich offers both undergraduate and graduate programs.
The National University System was established in 2001 to meet the emerging challenges and demands of education in the 21st century. We have five southwestern Minnesota campuses: Canby, Granite Falls, Jackson, Pipestone, and Worthington, and two learning centers in Luverne and Marshall.
