Founded in 1972 in New Orleans, Popeyes is a leader in the New Orleans segment of the foodservice industry and is the world`s second largest quick-service chicken concept based on the number of units. As of December 29, 2013, Popeyes had 2,225 operating restaurants operating in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Cayman Islands and 28 foreign countries.
Francene has an in-depth experience as an Human Resources professional, with a particular interest in the intersection of HR technology and human behavior – not so surprising, since she is a graduate of Georgia Tech. With more than 20 years background in recruiting, Francene is currently the Director Talent Acquisition with Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. and serves on the Board of Directors for DirectEmployers Association. Prior to joining Popeyes, Francene was Director Resourcing for the Americas Region at IHG, managing resourcing technology implementation and crafting online sourcing strategy for the corporate offices, reservation centers and 200+ owned/managed hotels. In her spare time, she enjoys playing really bad golf.
