About the Person
Elpida leads Global People Analytics, a team responsible for ensuring the enterprise is effectively leveraging our associate insights on a global scale. Elpida joined the company in 2004 working in Sam’s Club as a member trends analyst and with a team of internal and external scientists, developed new analytical framework for the Membership organization resulting in a member-centric view. She then worked as a senior pricing manager before moving to Walmart U.S. in 2008 as a director of HR Analytics and spearheading an effort to standardize the HR data analysis process, making it faster and more accurate while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Elpida has both a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics and a master’s in transportation and logistics from the University of Arkansas.
