The City of Winooski was established on March 7, 1922. We are located in Northwest Vermont, just across the Winooski River from Burlington at the heart of Chittenden County. Winooski`s 1.43 square miles is home to about 7,300 residents. Our award-winning “Smart Growth” downtown, beautiful Winooski River, and vibrant business sector make Winooski a very dynamic and exciting place to live and work.
