About the Person
Chris Van Bavel is a senior director for the talent acquisition strategy and solutions team at Marriott International. In Marriott’s highly matrixed environment, this team was formed to be agile and responsive while identifying emerging TA trends, providing strategic advice and solution architecture, and developing and implementing innovative TA strategies. Prior to this role, he worked within the greater Marriott talent acquisition operations team on RPO strategy, along with talent acquisition policy, process, and technology strategy for the organization. He joined Marriott after leading the recruiting function for a national public accounting firm based out of Bethesda, Maryland. He lives in and loves all things Baltimore along with his wife, three boys, and two dogs.
