About the Person
Charity Hughes is the Vice President of Human Resources for North America at Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget. Hughes holds an MS in Training and Organizational Development from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, and a BA in Speech Communications with a Business Minor from Pennsylvania State University in University Park. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Organization and Management with a specialization in Human Resources from Capella University in Minneapolis. Hughes is currently president-elect of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), has served as vice president of programming for the organization from 2011 to 2013, and as programming chair since 2011.
