About the Person
Bonita Lindberg is the Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources at Tompkins Financial Corporation, effective December 28, 2015. In her role, Lindberg will lead the human resources and learning and development departments for Tompkins Financial as a member of the company`s senior leadership team. Lindberg comes to Tompkins Financial from Cortland Regional Medical Center and Albany International Corporation. She earned her Master of Arts in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois and her Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from LeMoyne College. Lindberg was certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources in 2001. She is very active in the Central New York community as a member of the Tompkins Trust Company Cortland Business Development Board, a trustee and human resources committee chair with Hospicare and Palliative Care Services of Tompkins County and a former board member of Cayuga Medical Center. She is also a former board member and conference board member for the Society for Human Resource Management, both nationally and locally. She resides in Lansing with her husband, Mike, and has three daughters.
