About the Person

Anne Sullivan is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Des Moines Public Schools.   Prior to that, Sullivan was the Area Education Agency 267`s assistant chief administrator for three years. In that position, she directed the human resources management of more than 1,110 full- and part-time staff members who provide special education and school improvement services, along with technology support for more than 60,000 students and 5,000 educators throughout 18 counties of north central and northeastern Iowa.   Prior to taking the position at AEA 267, Sullivan served as associate clinical professor at the University of Iowa, associate superintendent at Ankeny Community School District and superintendent at Norwalk Community School District.
