The Charlotte Host Committee, CLT Host 2020, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not for profit economic development organization with no political affiliation. CLT Host 2020, Inc. is responsible for hosting and funding the 2020 Republican National Convention to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina from August 24 - 27, 2020. As an economic development organization, CLT Host 2020, Inc. will highlight the Queen City`s premier business environment which supports the skilled and diverse workforce responsible for the region`s growth in national and international corporate offices and local businesses. The Charlotte region, North Carolina, and South Carolina offer an undeniable energy, full of passionate people from all walks of life whose differences make our communities stronger. CLT Host 2020, Inc. aims to showcase these characteristics and how our residents have created a world-class convention and event destination that attracts sporting events, corporate functions, and international art and musical tours. CLT Host 2020, Inc. is excited for the 2020 Republican National Convention and the positive experience it will bring for Charlotte, our community, and everyone involved – residents, businesses, and guests. This event will be a tremendous undertaking and will require committed volunteers from across the region, our two states, and the nation. To manage the health care of our nation`s Veterans, attention is required toward reliability, safety, efficiency and efficacy. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is the nation`s largest integrated health care system. VHA has been organized into 21 regional districts that manage care for more than 8.3 million Veterans in 153 Medical centers and more than 1,400 Primary Outpatient Clinics, also known as Community Based Outpatient Clinics, community living centers and Domiciliaries. The VA Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) is one of the 21 Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs). VISN 6 is comprised of eight VA Medical Centers and 33 associated community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) spanning North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia (see map). The network utilizes more than 13,500 clinical and support staff members, and about 4,000 volunteers to serve greater than 340,000 Veterans annually across our three-state service area. In recent years the Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network has been rated among the best Networks in VA on clinical quality performance measures. This recognition is a tribute to our staff and a confirmation for our patients that they are receiving the very best in quality health care. This area is already one of the fastest-growing, most densely Veteran-centric populations in the nation. As the size and density of the Veteran population in the region increases, VISN 6 also reacts to improve access to care. Over the next two years, VISN 6 will expand outpatient services to Veterans in the Charlotte, Winston-Salem, and Fayetteville, NC areas with the development of Health Care Centers in those communities, and a large Primary Outpatient Clinic in Wilmington. Maintaining quality standards, improving access to care, and enhancing patient satisfaction are core goals for VISN 6. MIT Lincoln Laboratory is a federally funded research and development center chartered to apply advanced technology to problems of national security. Research and development activities focus on long-term technology development as well as rapid system prototyping and demonstration. These efforts are aligned within key mission areas. The Laboratory works with industry to transition new concepts and technology for system development and deployment.

The City of Dayton provides a full range of services including police, fire, EMS, street maintenance, waste collection, building inspection, water supply & treatment, recreation, and municipal courts, as well as operating the Dayton International Airport and the Dayton Convention Center. The City provides services to approximately 140,000 citizens in an area of about 57 square miles.
