Provide overall strategic and operational direction to the organization`s technological planning and development through our next stage of growth. Responsible for analyzing new technologies and the efforts leading to new or improved products. Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement long-range strategic objectives and operating policies and procedures to attain organization`s goal to provide innovative access to mainstream medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee all architecture and development, while leading a multidisciplinary team of professionals working with Agile methodologies, ensuring technology roadmaps are aligned with business strategy.
• Serve as a key advisor to the CEO on technology investments and initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to team of engineers and foster a culture of collaboration, scalability and excellence.
• Responsible for formulating and executing a clear technical vision that is consistent with Zipnosis` strategy.
• Lead the full life-cycle development process from product definition and strategy through design, development, quality assurance and release.
• Serve as a key member of Zipnosis` Executive Management team providing support in the area of best practices and innovative solutions in the technology industry.
• Responsible for ensuring proper security infrastructure to mitigate risk from external/internal malicious activity.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 year`s experience in Healthcare IT (HIPAA, EMR, HL7).
• A proven technology leader with at least 10 year`s experience successfully building, managing, motivating and mentoring engineering teams.
• Familiarity with various engineering stacks (Ruby on Rails), Front-end technologies and Mobile
• Experience developing cloud based applications and solutions.
• Proven experience of innovative thinking to both technology and strategy.
• Prior experience in fast-paced agile environments with high quality execution and solid track record of building technology teams/processes and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience with fiscal discipline – ability to do more with less.
