Since being incorporated in April 1942, Yavapai Regional Medical Center – the Prescott area’s community hospital – has seen a lot of change. What started as a simple, small-town hospital in the old Jefferson School building on Marina Street is today a state-of-the-art hospital system with two campuses, one in Prescott and one in Prescott Valley, and an ever-growing selection of high-quality programs and services, all designed to meet the healthcare needs of our communities. Growth and positive change are a familiar fact of life at YRMC, but what has not changed – and will never change – is the comfort we offer and the compassion we feel. These will forever remain. The cornerstone of the 21st century Yavapai Regional Medical Center is a Healing Team led by a community-based board of trustees, a trusted group of experienced administrators and the scores of concerned physicians in multiple specialties who form the YRMC Medical Staff.
