About the Person
Wendy Lang is the Director of Human Resources at Douglas County, effective January 18, 2016. Prior to that, she served as Interim Human Resources Director at Douglas County. Wendy has lived in Douglas County for 8 years with her husband Josh and three children. Wendy was originally hired January 2014 as a Senior Human Resources Analyst and came to Douglas County with over 10 years of extensive Human Resources experience. Wendy has Human Resources experience in government, government contracting, hospitality and manufacturing. Wendy earned her Master`s Degree in Business Administration from West Texas A&M and her undergraduate degree in Business Management, Human Resources; with a minor in Speech Communications from California State University, Stanislaus. In addition to her degrees, she has a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification. Wendy has been acting as Director of Human Resources since May 2015.
