The Kent School District is one of the largest districts in the state with over 27,000 students. Our mission is successfully preparing all students for their futures. With approximately 130 languages spoken, we are the most diverse district in the state. We encourage our students to celebrate and share their unique experiences and perspectives with one another in an effort to foster community, acceptance and a global perspective of the world. To date, 143 of our teaching faculty are National Board Certified and 67% of our teachers hold a master’s degree or other advanced degrees. Kent School District is the second largest employer in the Kent area with approximately 3,300 employees, 800 temporary employees, along with over 4,500 volunteers.
