Virgil Smith is Vice President at Gannett. Smith is responsible for talent acquisition, diversity and compliance for EEOC and OFCCP. Prior to this role, Smith served as president and publisher of the Asheville Citizen-Times and The Record, San Joaquin County (Stockton, CA). Chair.
