IndeVets is on a mission to bring balance, fulfillment, and joy to veterinary medicine. We began with the not-so-crazy idea that vets deserve to love their jobs AND have lives outside of work. As practicing vets ourselves, we had some first-hand experience with the burnout that has become our status quo. Insane hours, little-to-no support, office politics, too much focus on production, and piles of vet school debt are all too real these days. We knew there had to be a better way, and we decided to put our feet (and paws) down and fix it. We started from scratch and set out to create a totally new way to practice that puts vets first. We took what makes associate work reliable and combined it with what makes relief work flexible. That means all our docs get proper pay for the hours they work, full benefits, and total schedule control, with plenty of shifts that fit neatly into their lives. All our IndeVets create their own schedules, choosing shifts from our hundreds of partner hospitals. They`re supported by an incredible team, who handle everything from making sure our clinical standards are met to making sure there`s never any guilt for a sick day or vacay. Plus all our doctors are connected virtually, and share x-rays, rads and tough case questions in real time for added support. Our hospital partners are pretty great too – we partner with forward-thinking practices that understand the value an engaged, knowledgeable doctor can bring to their clinic.

ZH Healthcare, Inc. was founded in 2008 to serve the Revenue Cycle Management process of medical providers based in the US. We soon discovered that the software available to the medical billing process was neither user friendly nor providing value for money to the medical provider. Further we also recognized that the future of medicine would have to rely heavily on technology to make healthcare more accessible and affordable to the general population, not just in the advanced nations but also to the poorer regions of the globe. We found that 7 billion of the 7.5 billion population of the world had no access to the latest health information technology.
