About the Person
Vanessa White is Senior Vice President of Human Resources with Sodexo Canada. Vanessa leads Sodexo`s people and culture strategies. She is responsible for all employee and labour relations, operational human resources support, health & safety, total rewards, payroll, organizational development, training, and talent acquisition and development. Vanessa joined Sodexo Canada in 2009 as Director of Labour Relations. Following that role, Vanessa became the Senior Director of Human Resources, managing employee & labour relations and Sodexo Canada`s Health & Safety team. Vanessa is also responsible for building and leading the Canadian Diversity & Inclusion strategy. She was a founding member of WiLL (Women in Leadership & Learning), Sodexo Canada`s business resource group focused on gender diversity, and is one of the Executive Sponsors of Sodexo Canada`s Diversity & Inclusion Council. Internally, Vanessa is a member of Sodexo`s global taskforce for Diversity and Inclusion and the global LGBT Taskforce. Externally, Vanessa is an Advisory Board Member of both the Canadian Institute of Diversity & Inclusion (CIDI) and Canadian Employers Supporting Abilities (CESA). She is also an active committee member with the Women`s Foodservice Forum Canadian Advisory Group. Vanessa graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University and achieved her Certificate in Human Resources Management from St. Mary`s University.
