Established in 1995, the Berman Institute now consists of more than 35 faculty from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, School of Nursing, Bloomberg School of Public Health, Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies and the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. Faculty work collaboratively across the Institute`s program areas.
NCICU represents North Carolina's 36 private, nonprofit, SACS accredited colleges and universities on public policy issues with the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of state government and the other education sectors in the state. Primarily, our focus in public policy is to work to maximize college access, affordability, and financial aid for North Carolina students who attend private colleges and universities in the state.

The Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC) is a $2.2 million 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and officially recognized student government of the University of California, Berkeley. The organization is dedicated to growth of student programs and development of student life on the campus through funding and sponsorship for 800+ student organizations, a multitude of programs including the West Coast`s largest performance showcase "Perspectives," and advocacy to university administration as well as local and state politics.
