The California Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) is a group of dedicated individuals working with parents and guardians to help children and families receive court-ordered financial and medical support through a network of 50 county and regional local child support agencies (LCSAs). DCSS distributed a total of $2.3 billion in collections to help serve 1.3 million children and families in FFY 2015. Some of the services provided include locating a parent; establishing paternity; establishing, modifying and enforcing a court order for child support; and establishing, modifying and enforcing an order for health coverage.

Manager of solid waste related activities, including a close landfill, refuse disposal, recycling and waste reduction, and disposal of moderate risk waste. Also manage 4 small sewer and water facilities througout the county and manager of parks operations/maintenance/ development for Thurston County.
The Boone County Democratic Central Committee represents the Missouri Democratic Party in Boone County and performs such functions required by the laws of the State of Missouri, the Charter and By-Laws of the Democratic Party of the United States, and the Constitution and By-Laws of the Missouri Democratic Party. The objective of the Central Committee is to encourage among all voters and citizens of Boone County, Missouri an active interest in governmental affairs; to increase the efficiency of popular government; to foster and perpetuate the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party; to encourage and develop leadership in the Democratic Party; to encourage party responsibility; and to maintain and promote harmony in the Democratic Party rank and file. The Central Committee promotes the interest of the Democratic Party and its candidates over those of the opposing candidates and political parties. The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) was created by the legislature in 1870. The original intent of OCI has not changed drastically over the past 125 years. In 1870, OCI was vested with broad powers to ensure that the insurance industry responsibly and adequately met the insurance needs of Wisconsin citizens. Today, OCI`s mission is to lead the way in informing and protecting the public and responding to its insurance needs. OCI performs a variety of tasks to protect insurance consumers and ensure a competitive insurance environment. OCI`s major functions include: • Reviewing insurance policies that are sold in Wisconsin to make sure they meet the requirements set forth in Wisconsin law; • Conducting examinations of domestic and foreign insurers to ensure compliance with Wisconsin laws and rules; • Monitoring the financial solvency of licensed companies to make sure that consumers have the insurance coverage they expect when they need it; • Issuing licenses to the various parties involved in selling and marketing insurance products; • Assisting insurance consumers with their insurance problems; • Researching special insurance issues to understand and assess their impact on Wisconsin; • Providing technical assistance on legislation and promulgating administrative rules to interpret insurance laws; • Creating and distributing public information and consumer education pieces to educate people about insurance; and • Operating a state life insurance fund, a property fund for the property owned by local units of government, and a patients compensation fund insuring health care providers for medical malpractice.
