The National Security Agency (NSA) is a world leader in the protection and exploitation of intelligence. This Agency also enables Network Warfare operations to defeat terrorists and their organizations at home and abroad, consistent with U.S. laws and the protection of privacy and civil liberties. NSA is the world leader in many technology fields and conducts one of the U.S. Governments leading research and development programs. Over the last decade, information has emerged as a warfighting domain, joining land, sea and air as a critical, contested battlespace. As the Navy`s information warfare systems command, SPAWAR is the Navy acquisition command that develops, delivers and sustains communications and information warfare capabilities for warfighters, keeping them securely connected anytime, anywhere.
