About the Person
Tommy Lasseigne is the Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources at Lafourche Parish. Lasseigne has a master`s degree of business administration, master`s of science in human resource management and doctorate of philosophy in strategic management/finance. He`s worked as a commercial and residential contractor, project manager of an apartment complex and chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Key Medical Supply. Politically, he has served as Lafourche Parish councilman for one term and ran unsuccessfully for Lafourche Parish president and a seat on the Thibodaux City Council. In 2012, he was appointed as the council`s legislative auditor. In the summer of 2015, Lasseigne he resigned from the post. In the fall of 2015, Lasseigne ran for the Lafourche Parish Council District 4 seat but did not make it to the runoff election.
