Timothy Harris, Ph.D., joined BG Medicines board of directors in April 2007. Dr. Harris currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Translational Medicine at Biogen Idec. Dr. Harris has served as the Director of the Advanced Technology Program at SAIC Frederick and Chief Technology Officer for SAIC Frederick. Prior to holding these positions, he served as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Novasite Pharmaceuticals Inc., and as President and Chief Executive Officer for Structural GenomiX, Inc. (now part of Eli Lilly).
