About the Person
Tiffeny A. Armour is the Director of Human Resources at Jefferson County Public Schools. Armour will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality diverse staff of JCPS teachers and administrators with the knowledge and skills to ensure the highest academic achievement for all students. Armour has been director of administrator recruitment and development at JCPS since 2011. Prior to that, she was a principal at Semple elementary for six years, and a teacher at Medora Elementary and Wilkerson Elementary for a total of five years. She also has served as a JCPS instructional coach. Armour earned her bachelor of arts in elementary education at the University of Louisville. She also earned two master`s degrees that include principal certification, superintendent certification and supervisor of instruction certification from UofL.
