Its roots can be found in the European business, Liberty Electric Cars, which built the first all electric luxury 4×4 in the UK in 2009, the Liberty e-Range, based on the Range Rover platform. The Company went on to participate in a number of UK government-sponsored and European Union grant-based research programs aimed at developing and improving next generation electric vehicle solutions, thus positioning itself as a leader in clean transport engineering.
