Teri Plummer McClure is responsible for Human Resources, Labor Relations and Employee Communications for more than 435,000 UPS employees across 220 countries and territories. A member of the UPS Management Committee, Teri is part of the team responsible for setting strategy, profit and operating plans for the company`s worldwide operations. After receiving a bachelor`s degree in marketing and economics from Washington University and a juris doctorate from Emory University School of Law, Teri began her career in private legal practice, focusing on labor and employment-related civil litigation. Teri joined the UPS Corporate Legal Department in 1995. In 2003 she was named president of the company`s Central Florida District. She took on special assignments in UPS logistics and distribution functions before being named UPS Compliance Manager. Teri was appointed General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in 2006. In 2013 she was named Chief Legal, Communications and Compliance Officer. Two years later, she was named Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources and Labor. In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Teri is a member of several association boards and serves on the board of trustees of The UPS Foundation, which distributed more than $50.7 million in charitable giving in 2013. Teri also serves on the boards of Lennar Corporation, Heart for Africa, The Task Force for Global Health and the Emory University Board of Trustees. She has served as former co-chair of the Georgia Supreme Courts Committee on Civil Justice. Among her many notable accomplishments, Teri received the 2014 General Counsel of the Year Pathfinder Award from the National Bar Association and the 2013 Exemplar Award from National Legal Aid & Defender Association. Teri, her husband and their daughters live in Atlanta where they are active with many church-related, civic and community organizations.
