Teresia Zadroga-Haase is the Director of Human Resources at City of Manhattan Beach. The California native, who holds a bachelor`s degree from UC Irvine and an MBA from Cal State Northridge, has lived all over the state, from Eureka to San Diego. She worked in the private sector as a consultant for many years, before switching to the public sector 13 years ago. When an opportunity to leave the nonstop travel of consulting and work in the public sector arose, she jumped on it. And she`s never looked back. She enjoyed the aspect of helping people as a consultant, but working in local government has given her a real sense of purpose. Since crossing over, she has worked in both city and county government, most recently as the HR Director for the City of Stockton.
