Surface Oncology is a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company focused on using its specialized knowledge of the biological pathways critical to the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) for the development of next-generation therapies to help patients suffering with cancer. Recent advances in understanding how the immune system fights cancer has created a first wave of immunotherapies with profound benefits for some patients. From a discovery perspective, Surface leverages its world-class SAB to identify new targets and takes an aggressive approach towards generating diverse, highly-specific antibodies, which allows our scientists to thoroughly explore the relevant biology.
