OneGoal`s mission is to close the college divide by enlisting and training our nation`s best educators to teach historically underserved high school students how to enroll in and complete college. OneGoal targets historically underserved students in low-income high schools with an average incoming GPA of 2.7 and an incoming ACT/SAT score of 15/729 to become OneGoal Fellows.
We are a non-profit youth organization. Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club organization currently has 6 Club locations spanning across 5 counties including 2 states. We are located in the following counties in KY: Butler, Daviess, Henderson, and Ohio; as well as South Spencer, IN. The organization has both Units and Extensions. Units are our Club sites that are open year-round excluding weekends. Extensions are our Club sites that are only open during after school programming. We offer after-school and summer programming for kids and teens ages 6-18 years of age. At the Club, members have a safe environment, academic support, healthy snacks, high-quality programs and supportive mentors. Forgotten Harvest was formed in 1990 to fight two problems: hunger and waste. Forgotten Harvest “rescued” 41.5 million pounds of food last year by collecting surplus prepared and perishable food from 800 sources, including grocery stores, fruit and vegetable markets, restaurants, caterers, dairies, farmers, wholesale food distributors and other Health Department-approved sources. This donated food, which would otherwise go to waste, is delivered free-of-charge to more than 280 emergency food providers in the Metro Detroit area.
