Portage, MI-based Stryker Corporation has promoted Steven Benscoter to Vice President of Human Resources.

Steven P. Benscoter was named Vice President, Human Resources, in June 2012. Mr. Benscoter is responsible for all human resources policies, practices, planning, direction and activities, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, HR Shared Services, and Communications & Public Affairs for the Company. Mr. Benscoter began his career with Stryker in 1995 at the Instruments division, where he excelled in various operations and human resources roles. In 2003 he relocated to Puerto Rico to be a plant manager, and in 2005 he returned to Michigan and was promoted to the position of Global Vice President of Human Resources for our Instruments division. In 2009 he was appointed as the Vice President and General Manager of two business units within the Instruments division, and most recently led the integration of our neurovascular acquisition. Mr. Benscoter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago.
