Houston, TX-based WaterBridge-Resources Appointed Stephen Johnson as Chief Executive Officer
WaterBridge develops, owns and operates permanent, integrated water infrastructure networks to address the long-term produced water management requirements of E&P companies. Our water pipeline and disposal systems provide our customers with reliable and efficient gathering and disposal of produced water. Water management is a critical aspect of our customers` oil and gas operations. As a result of the rapid growth in oil and gas production due to the widespread adoption of horizontal drilling, we believe large-scale, permanent water infrastructure networks are necessary to maintain current levels of oil and gas production in unconventional oil and gas basins.
Stephen Johnson currently serves on the board of Plum Energy and holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering with a minor in ocean engineering from Florida Atlantic University. He has completed the AMP program at the Jones Business School at Rice University. As president and COO of Nabors Well Services, he managed an organization of 3,500 professionals and a field organization in 15 states and Canada with an annual revenue approaching $1B. The company operated 29 SWD wells in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and North Dakota, along with an accompanying fleet of 1,500 water and condensate hauling trucks and 5,000 frack tanks to support its fluids management business. Mr. Johnson was also cofounder of Stonegate Production Company, one of the first entrants into the Eagle Ford oil play in South Texas.
