America Needs You (ANY) is a national nonprofit organization founded in 2009 by Robert Reffkin. It is dedicated to advancing economic mobility for first-generation college students through mentorship and career development. ANY operates in major U.S. metropolitan areas, including New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and California, with its headquarters in New York City overseeing national strategy and program development. ANYs mission is to ensure that socio-economic status does not hinder college persistence or career success. Its flagship program, the Two-Year Fellows Program, pairs first-generation college students with Mentor Coaches for one-on-one mentoring, career workshops, and access to internships. The FirstGenU Career Institute offers a digital, self-paced career development program available nationwide. ANY also engages young professionals as volunteers to support its mission.
