The story of Control Solutions, now a partner with ADAMA Consumer & Professional Solutions, began in 1958 when the Boyd family purchased a small Pasadena, Texas pest control company. Before long, Ford`s Pest Control grew to become Ford`s Chemical and Service in 1976. Later, in 1985, Control Solutions, Inc. (CSI) was created to distribute Ford`s products to the professional and consumer markets. Ford`s success and growth in formulating PCO, Animal Health and Consumer products drew the attention of Roussel Bio Corporation, which acquired Ford`s in 1989. Control Solutions continued as a family owned business and built on to the commitment of serving the professional pest control and retail markets after the Ford`s sale to Roussel. Since that time, CSI has added product lines for the Industrial, Lawn and Garden, Animal Health and Biocide markets, and is working with 80 + distributors serving those markets. Control Solutions maintains relationships with chemical manufacturers worldwide and maintains a ready supply of products in numerous distribution warehouses across the U.S. Today our partnership with ADAMA (www.adama.com) multiplies Control Solutions` agility in continuously adding new products to meet the needs of professionals and homeowners. The one constant since the beginning in 1958 is our mission focus: to seek out and distribute effective and economical solutions for our customers.
Our headquarter is based in Denmark, our production facilities are located in Asia, Europe and Americas and we have sales companies in 44 countries - plus distributors in more than 70 countries. Main product lines are professional scrubber dryers, sweepers, vacuum cleaners, and high pressure washers. Our products are primarily focused on the commercial cleaning market, which includes institutional and industrial customers, as well as professional contract cleaners. The products are sold under a wide range of brands, including Nilfisk, Nilfisk-ALTO, Advance, Clarke, Viper and Nilfisk-CFM. In the domestic market, we offer both vacuum cleaners and high pressure washers under the Nilfisk brand. Nilfisk-Advance has developed professional cleaning equipment for more than 100 years, and it is our plan to be around for the next 100 years as well.
