About the Person
rn Shiv Agarwal is a Co-Founder and CEO of Arkin Net. Driven by a passion for technology and the quest for simplifying the complex, Shiv brings over 15 years of technology and management experience building startups and high growth enterprise software companies. Prior to co-founding Arkin Net, Shiv was leading Product Management at VMware where he helped define the product vision and direction for software-defined datacenter operations. At Blue Lane Technologies (acquired by VMware), Shiv led a team that built the industry’s first Virtual Firewall, an integral piece of todays VMware NSX platform. Shiv started his career in Bell Labs, the birthplace of numerous networking technologies, where he architected and developed products for next generation data networks. Shiv is an MBA and a Palmer Scholar from the Wharton School of Business. He also holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.rn
