About the Person
Sharon McGinnis is the Vice President of Human Resources and Safety at Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation, effective Aug. 1, 2015. McGinnis joined the company in 2009 as the director of human resources, following human resources experience through positions at several companies within the Hudson Valley, including nine years as vice president of human resources for the Dow Jones Local Media Group. McGinnis will have responsibility for all aspects of human resources, including safety, labor relations, employee relations, organizational development, benefits administration, security, training, payroll and other related operations. She earned a bachelor`s degree in business administration from SUNY New Paltz. A resident of Montgomery in Orange County, she serves as a volunteer on the board of directors of Hudson Valley Hospice.
