We opened the first AbsoluteCare center in Atlanta in 2000, with a primary focus on treating members with HIV/AIDS. We quickly became an HIV Center of Excellence, achieving impressive results: an 88 percent retention rate and a 97 percent undetectable rate. A surprising thing happened. With so many of them free of the symptoms of HIV/AIDS, our members sought primary care from us.
