About the Person

Mr. Scott T. Svenson co-founded MOD Pizza LLC in 2008 and serves as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Svenson is the Founder of The Sienna Group, LLC and serves as its Chairman and Managing Partner. He serves as an Executive Officer of MOD Super Fast Pizza, LLC. He served as Venture Partner at Montlake Capital (formerly, Buerk Dale Victor LLC). Until October 1999, he served as the President of Starbucks Europe during which time, he authored Pyramid Breweries Inc.`s European Strategic Plan. He also served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of CrestaCare PLC, where he played an instrumental role in helping turn around the business from operating losses to generating substantial operating profits. Mr. Svenson served as an Advisor to high growth and middle market companies with Apax Partners and Drexel Burnham Lambert for six years. He played a crucial role in turning the business around from annual losses of over £3.0 million to operating profits of over £8.0 million in less than three years. In 1994, he co-founded Seattle Coffee Company, which he built to over 70 locations before selling Pyramid Breweries Inc. to Starbucks in early 1998. As the Chief Executive Officer of Seattle Coffee, Mr. Svenson built the business to over 75 retail locations in under three years and managed the sale to Starbucks in May 1998 for just under $100 million. Following the acquisition, he served as the President of Starbucks United Kingdom. He serves as the Chairman at MOD Super Fast Pizza Holdings, LLC. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Banner Retail Marketing and Redwood Real Estate Partners. He serves as Board Chairman of Ivey Performance Marketing, LLC. He serves as Non-Executive Director of Carluccio's PLC (formerly, Carluccio`s Ltd.). He serves as a Director of MOD Super Fast Pizza, LLC. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Grosvenor House Group Plc. He has been on the Boards of Grosvenor House Group since September 2007. He serves as a Director of Santa Fe PLC. Mr. Svenson serves on the Advisory Boards of the CapVest Development Capital. He serves as an Executive Director of MOD Super Fast Pizza Holdings, LLC. He serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Washington Business School. He serves as on the Board of Trustees at Childhaven. He served as a Director of Pyramid Breweries Inc. from August 2001 to August 2008. He served as a Director of Puget Sound Bank. since September, 2007. Earlier, he served as a Director at Swiss water® decaffeinated Coffee company Inc. He served as a Trustee at Ten Peaks Coffee Company Inc., (formerly, Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Income Fund). Mr. Svenson received a B.A. in Business, with honors from Harvard College in 1988.
