Leidos is a science and technology solutions leader working to address some of the world`s toughest challenges in national security, health, and engineering. Leidos is headquartered in Reston, Va. and had approximately $6 billion in revenues for fiscal year 2013, on a pro forma basis, following the spin-off of the company`s technical, engineering and enterprise IT business on Sept. 27, 2013. Miner holds a B.S. in both Computer Science and Mathematics from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He served in the Air Force for 10 years, and served another 14 years in the Air Force Reserves where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. While on active duty, he earned an M.S. in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology. Miner is also a graduate of the University of Virginia Darden Business School "The Executive Program".
Sarah K. Allen serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Leidos. She is also a member of the Leidos Relief Foundation Board of Directors. Previously, she was senior vice president of HR for a group of more than 11,000 scientists and engineers that is one of the largest support organizations to the intelligence community. Prior to joining Leidos, then known as SAIC, in September 2008, Allen served as the director of Human Resources in the TASC Business Unit of Northrop Grumman Corporation. In this capacity, she served as a strategic business partner focused on aligning human resources capabilities with organizational results in a broad range of business environments. As such, she was the provider of creative programs and process improvements in the areas of talent management, organizational development, employee relations, compensation, and leadership development. Among Allen`s many professional achievements are helping to define a vision and change management agenda aligned with core values and growth objectives; creating and implementing an executive development designed to increase teamwork and foster a performance-based culture; designing a multi-faceted human resources strategy linked to business goals; and implementing a competency-based succession plan and management development initiative with focus on women and minorities to ensure the enterprise had the leadership required to support the organizational objectives of the future. Earlier in her career, she held positions with TRW Environmental Safety Systems, Honeywell, and Hewlett-Packard Company. Allen received a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University and is a graduate of numerous executive education programs.
