Sandy McIntosh leads a team that drives the company`s innovative people and culture strategy for 47,000 team members around the globe. Sandy joined TELUS in 2007 and has been championing the growth and development of the TELUS team ever since, transcending traditional HR accountabilities and challenging the status quo. She is focused on advancing TELUS` business priorities, including human capital development, organizational effectiveness, transformational cultural change, labour relations, total rewards strategy and talent acquisition. She is a trusted advisor to the TELUS leadership team, creating programs that have strengthened the TELUS brand and helped drive the best team member engagement level in the world. With her leadership, TELUS has been named as one of Canada`s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures three times, as recognized by Waterstone Human Capital, and one of only six companies nationally to be inducted into their Top 10 Corporate Cultures Hall of Fame. She has also contributed to TELUS being recognized as one of Canada`s Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp for seven consecutive years. As a strong champion for TELUS` commitment to give where we live, Sandy is passionate about her community, and serves as Vice-chair of the TELUS Toronto Community Board. Sandy holds both an Executive MBA and a Master`s in Industrial Relations from Queen`s University, and graduated with honours from Carleton University in Public Administration. In addition, she is an alumnus of one of Canada`s leading executive programs, the Judy Project, with the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
