RioCan was founded in November 1993 with a portfolio of 12 Retail, Industrial and Office properties. This is where βRioβ in RioCan comes from. Today, RioCan is Canada`s largest real estate investment trust with a total capitalization of approximately $15.1 billion as at December 31, 2014.
