About the Person
Sandra Kay-Weaver is the Director of Human Resources at the Straz Center, Tampa. Kay-Weaver will be responsible for leading the Straz Center`s human resources department and the board`s human resources committee, as well as the Straz Center`s Diversity Council. Before joining the Straz Center, Kay-Weaver was the vice president of human resources and leadership development for the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA. She has served as senior vice president of human resources and diversity for United Way of Metropolitan Chicago and as chief people resources officer for the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago. She earned her bachelor`s of science degree in business management from Florida A&M University and has done master-level studies in human resources management at DePaul University and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
