About the Company

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is a general acute care hospital. Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center opened June 7, 2010 and is a part of HCA Virginia, which is the commonwealth`s most comprehensive healthcare network. SRMC is a $175 million hospital with 133-beds and all rooms are private and provide a wide range of in- and outpatient services, including 24-hour emergency care, obstetrics, diagnostic imaging, intensive care, cardiac catheterization and psychiatric care. Located on a 75-acre campus south of Fredericksburg on Interstate 95, the hospital recently won state approval to build a cancer treatment center, which will be built next to the Pogonia Medical Arts Building, an 80,000-square-foot medical office building attached to the hospital. SRMC has employed over 450 new staff members and it will pay roughly $1.5 million in taxes annually to Spotsylvania County, thereby broadening the county`s tax base.

 

About the Person

Rosemary Loring joins Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center as Vice President of Human Resources. A native Philadelphian, Rosemary`s career began in telecommunications, progressing to leadership positions in strategic planning and human resources at Verizon.   She continued her business career with a strong human resources background, leading the sales and operations for 35 bank branches in the Philadelphia market.   Also an entrepreneur, Rosemary most recently had huge success building a temporary staffing business. Rosemary`s extensive career brought her back to Northern Virginia and the Hampton Roads area for five years, and she`s delighted to be back and join the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Team.   Rosemary is a graduate of Immaculata University and earned a law degree from The George Washington University. She and her husband Dave are empty nester and are looking forward to becoming part of the Fredericksburg Community.
