Ghertner & Company was founded on January 8, 1968, by Frank F. Ghertner. After serving in various roles at Ghertner & Company for over a decade, Frank Ghertner’s sons, Scott Ghertner and Steve Ghertner, assumed ownership and management of Ghertner & Company in 2002 and serve as Co-presidents of the company. Both Scott Ghertner and Steve Ghertner are Certified Property Managers (CPM) as designated from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Scott Ghertner has also attained the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Scott Ghertner served as the 1998 President of the Greater Nashville Chapter of IREM and the 2002 President of the Tennessee Chapter of CAI. Frank Ghertner retired from active involvement in the association management business in 2002, but his sons continue to carry on the tradition established by their father more than four decades ago; providing excellence in community association management to all clients.
