About the Person
Robert Wilson, also known as Bob, is a Human Resources veteran with more than 30 years of leadership experience. He has a reputation for developing and executing new human resource strategies that provide innovative people solutions to build successful businesses and improve efficiency and productivity while reducing costs. Prior to Concerto, Wilson was Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Administration for Healogics, a billion dollar wound care management company that he helped grow from 300 to 2,500 employees. He directed HR strategy through dramatic organic growth and several acquisitions and mergers. Previously, Wilson was the Deputy Secretary, Personnel Cabinet for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. During his tenure he completely reengineered the Commonwealth`s HR management function, improving collaboration and processes and deploying new technology. He also co-led the effort to self-fund the employee medical plan, resulting in approximately $4 million in savings. Wilson was the founder of PeopleStrategy, a thriving HR consulting firm that he successfully sold. It is still in business today. Wilson received a Bachelor of Science in Management from Rutgers University of Camden.
