About the Person
Robert D. Nicoson, also known as Bob, has been the Chief Human Resources Office and Vice President of Constant Contact, Inc. since June 2008. Mr. Nicoson serves as a member of the executive team, overseeing all human resources programs, practices, and policies that support Constant Contact's business needs, culture, and executive leadership. He heads up the strategic direction of Human Resources at Gather. He served as a Vice President of Human Resources at Skyword Inc. (Alternate Name: Gather Inc.) where he built a full scale human resources operation from the ground up. During his time there, he established employee benefits programs, staff recruiting processes, and compensation and performance management systems. Previously, he held executive human resource positions with the Weston Jesuit School of Theology, CertaLogic Inc. and Scala Business Solutions NV. He develops, implements, and manages a variety of initiatives that ensure that Gather employees thrive in their roles and develop their personal and professional lives. He joined Gather in January 2007. He has more than 25 years of experience leading HR direction for publishing, financial, and technology companies. He held key leadership and management roles in start-up, mid-term, and established businesses both in the U.S. and abroad. He was a consultant and Vice President at Gather, Inc., from January 2007 to June 2008. Mr. Nicoson was Vice President of Human Resources and Operations of Certalogic, Inc., from 2005 to 2007. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Nicoson was Managing Director and Chief Resources Officer for Scala Business Solutions N.V. Prior to 1999, Mr. Nicoson held senior management positions with The Pioneer Group, Inc., Lotus Development Corp. and Atex, Inc. Mr. Nicoson holds a B.A from Indiana State University.
